What problems were you facing before meeting Blue Alligator?
“Managing a growing business with a small team is great and we do our best to offer exceptional customer service. However, as our order book grew, we found that it was creating a bottleneck and taking increasing amounts of time to get orders out to our retailers. The main reasons for this were the manual entry time and also if order information was missing or out of date we would have to go back to the sales team who would then have to go back to the customer. We really needed a live view on inventory for our sales team to reduce the risk of out-of-stock and a consistent format to ensure accurate data capture.”
Why choose Blue Alligator?
“If you are looking to streamline your business and create additional capacity for growth then Blue Alligator is a significant help. Yes, it does represent a financial outlay but then again, so does increasing the size of your team. The cost of Blue Alligator is really an investment in efficiency and generates time savings that pay for itself. It also helps us maintain our sanity, reducing repetitive tasks whilst also helping us attract experienced sales agents who are familiar with the Blue Alligator platform.”
What is your favourite feature of SalesPresenter?
There are many useful features of sales presenter and I think the preferred features will vary by user type. My personal favourite feature in the field is the barcode scanning, it’s so slick and I’m certain it helps us increase order values as we are able to maintain concentration when talking to the customer. From a back-office perspective, I would say that being able to upload orders without manually typing an order into a separate system one line at a time saves so much time and repetitiveness and most importantly reduces manual error risk. It’s a huge plus.
